It’s not difficult to see why the Deer and Doe Myosotis is such a popular pattern – pretty, versatile, easy to wear and beautifully swishy – what more could you want?

Harlene dungarees
As you can never have too many pairs of dungas, I was very excited when Merchant and Mills brought out the Harlene pattern and I swiftly added it to my list of things to sew.
Meridian dress
I have seen many, many lovely versions of the Papercut Patterns Meridian dress over the last few years, so I added it to my ‘make nine’ plans for 2021 and popped the pattern on my Christmas list.
Berlin jacket
I first made the Tessuti Fabrics Berlin jacket waaaaay back in October 2018 and it’s one of the hardest working garments in my wardrobe. I am notorious for always being freezing cold and a boiled wool jacket is one of the only things that actually keeps me warm!
Forsythe dress
This dress has been a LONG time in the making! I first fell in love with this linen from Merchant and Mills in summer 2019 and then finally convinced myself to buy some last August when I visited Rye with Patsy. I kept my eye out for patterns that would offer opportunities to play with stripes and struck gold with the French Navy Forsythe dress!
Davenport dress
Patsy and I have done a fair bit of remote buddy sewing during the pandemic, but nothing beats sitting down next to each other at our machines and stitching away in the same room. It wasn’t difficult to choose the project we would work on as we had both fallen hard for the new Friday Pattern Company Davenport dress when it was released a few weeks ago.
Zoey blouse
As part of my recent collaboration with the lovely ladies at Atelier Jupe, I was gifted a pattern of my choice from their range. Their garments are simple, wearable and very chic, so choosing just one to make was tricky!
Cinderella dress
I Am Patterns recently released their new ‘I am a princess’ collection and when they offered to send me a copy of a design of my choice, it did not take me long to pick the winner!
McCall’s M7969
Gorgeous versions of the M7969 started appearing regularly on Instagram last year and I was influenced to add the pattern to my ‘make nine’ plans for 2021.
Demeter Dress
I’d had my eye on the Anna Allen Demeter dress ever since I saw tester versions popping up on Instagram after its release in August 2019. I didn’t originally intend to buy it, but I figured as I was still thinking about it over a year later, I probably should!
