This beautiful and unusual fabric has been in my stash since last summer and I have have been uncharacteristically indecisive about what to make with it. It’s a viscose crinkle cloqué that I bought from The New Craft House and as is the nature of deadstock fabric – once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Ninni Culottes
It’s always very exciting when a designer you love invites you to collaborate with them and I’ve been lucky enough to work with Atelier Jupe on a few projects now. Eva and Petra got in touch recently to share some sneak peeks of their latest collection (spoiler alert – I loved EVERYTHING) and asked if I would like to sew something up prior to the launch.
I Am Helios
I’m sure you all know that I’m a huge fan of I Am Patterns – I have made several of their designs and I am always excited when the lovely Blandine gets in touch to give me a sneak preview of their latest collection! ‘I Am Brilliant’ is their newest release and comprises of two versatile patterns.
Frida blouse
I was delighted when Eva and Petra from Atelier Jupe reached out and invited me to collaborate with them again and sew a garment from their latest collection. I was excited to see the 11 new printed viscoses and 3 new patterns!
Myosotis dress
It’s not difficult to see why the Deer and Doe Myosotis is such a popular pattern – pretty, versatile, easy to wear and beautifully swishy – what more could you want?
Davenport dress
Patsy and I have done a fair bit of remote buddy sewing during the pandemic, but nothing beats sitting down next to each other at our machines and stitching away in the same room. It wasn’t difficult to choose the project we would work on as we had both fallen hard for the new Friday Pattern Company Davenport dress when it was released a few weeks ago.
McCall’s M7969
Gorgeous versions of the M7969 started appearing regularly on Instagram last year and I was influenced to add the pattern to my ‘make nine’ plans for 2021.
