The Zadie Jumpsuit pattern was released by Paper Theory in March 2019 and has been a favourite in the sewing community ever since. When I was planning my #MakeNine2022 I had a little browse through the Fold Line’s ‘Top 10 Indie Sewing Patterns of 2021’ – I had already made 6 of the designs but the Zadie was a pattern I hadn’t tried, so I added it to my list.

Hope dress
Every time I restocked the Style Arc patterns at Hometown the Hope dress would catch my eye, so I decided to buy a copy to scratch that itch.
Luna Pants
I had my eye on the Made by Rae Luna Pants ever since I saw a copy of the pattern at Hometown, but never got around to sewing a pair. It’s not a pattern I see many people making and sharing on Instagram, so I suppose I just sort of forgot about them!
Georgie Pinafore
Much like pairs of dungarees, I can never have too many pinafore dresses. The Helen’s Closet York pinafore is a favourite and features in my wardrobe 3 times, but Jennifer Lauren is the queen of pinafore patterns – I have made 2 each of the Ivy and Pippi and Georgie is the latest addition to my collection!
Make Nine 2022
Happy New Year! Although 2020 is shaping up to be a bit of a trilogy, among all the uncertainty that a global pandemic brings, something I can plan with assurance are my sewing projects!

Back in February I made a flannel Ilford shacket and I have worn it SO MUCH – it’s versatile, easy to style, fun to wear and super cosy! I knew I wanted to sew another ‘shacket’ ready for this winter and have been planning this make for months.
